Ηouses impress and encapsulate the special architectural nature of the Mani and capture moments from the turbulent life of the wealthy and important local families. Finally, the local features such as stone cobbled streets, several kilometres long, which directly linked the area in the past with the wider economy of the region and were the only “bridge” to the rest of the county. One of the most beautiful cobbled streets is the famous Biliovou just after the village of Sotirianika, and is probably the most well-maintained paved path in the area, with a total of 75 bends.
